Site Secretary - Fleet - Contract

We are currently recruiting for a Document Contoller to join an ongoing project based in Woking for a well respected construction company.  

Contract length: Ongoing 

The main purpose of this role is managing all correspondence, documentation and paperwork for the management team on a designated site based in Southampton. You need to have knowledge and experience of using View projects/4 Pojects. Construction industry knowledge is important.  

You will need to be a team player as well as being able to work on your own initiative. You’ll need excellent communication skills dealing with both colleagues and clients: 

Duties include

  • Responsible for all correspondence; any recorded delivery items and manage general letters and correspondence

  • Maintain contact director

  • Responsible for the filing systems

  • Maintain a professional reception area

  • Answering the telephone

  • Meeting and greeting all visitors to site

  • Arrange meetings and manage diaries as appropriate

Skills/Experience:

  • Good presentation and computing skills.

  • Knowledge of 4 Projects or View Point 

  • Be able to work confidently with all Microsoft programs.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines.

  • Candidates must have some experience of working within the construction environment - ideally in an administration role/ document controller within a main contractor, residential developer or sub-contractor.

  • Organised and efficient to ensure the day to day workload is managed effectively.

  • Flexible and creative, with the ability to transfer your skills from one area of expertise to another.

  • Applicants must possess a professional, courteous and polite telephone manner.
