On bank holiday Monday, 06/06/2016 Zanine Wyeth, a consultant from O’Neill & Brennan’s Dublin office, will be participating in the Vhi Women’s mini marathon. She will be taking to the streets of Dublin along with 40,000 other brave girls and women in the largest event of its type in Ireland. Her involvement in the Vhi women’s mini marathon is part of a larger campaign Zanine is involved with, as she told me “I am part of the Relay for Life team which is doing a number of fund raisers towards the Cancer Society which involves getting local businesses to sponsor spot prizes. We are carrying out a Candle for Hope ceremony on the 30th July and Relay For Life 24 hour event in August that brings the whole community together to Celebrate the lives of cancer survivors, to remember those whom we have lost to the disease and to fight back by increasing our knowledge of cancer and by raising money to fund vital research and services of the Irish Cancer Society” I look forward to reporting more on those future events in months to come but in the meantime you can show your support for Zanine and this fantastic charity by visiting her JustGiving page here.
