If you have been following O’Neill & Brennan’s South East Facebook page today (which you almost definitely have) you’ll know that Pete Fahy and Ian Richardson today attended BAM Construction’s safety day at their Trafalgar School site in Hilsea, Portsmouth. It was an enjoyable event including a welcome morning away from regular studies for the pupils aged 11-16.
O’Neill & Brennan were there to discuss site safety as well as handing out prospectuses for Highbury College, which is situated close by and specialises in vocational courses including many based in construction. It is an institution with which we have a common goal of encouraging young people into the industry. Also on the agenda was O’Neill & Brennan’s quiz on site safety, with questions taken from the actual CSCS operatives test. First prize was two tickets to any home Portsmouth FC game in 2016!
