Accessibility Statement

O'Neill & Brennan always strives to meet the needs of all our customers and to this end the website has been developed to meet accessibility requirements.

Complying with standards

  • All pages on this site are WCAG AAA approved, complying with all priority 1, 2 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
  •  All pages on this site validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict. This means that they support documents that are more accessible to users with disabilities, and display properly on all browsers and platforms.
  •  All pages on this site comply with the Irish National Disability Authority IT Accessibility Guidelines
  • All pages on this site use structured semantic markup - a way of clearly identifying the different parts of a page, such as page titles, headings and main text. We have used H1 tags for page titles and H2 tags for headings.

Adjusting text size

You can easily increase the size of the font using the View menu in Internet Explorer and selecting the text size option. This will allow you to quickly change the size of the text to one which is comfortable for you.

Visual design

This site uses cascading style sheets for visual page layout. This means that it is easier for us to specify how a page should look, by, for example choosing what fonts and colours to use and where text should go. Even if your browser doesn't support style sheets at all, the content of each page is still readable. You can make the text size bigger without it affecting the rest of the style sheet.

Tab Index Order

A set tab index order has been introduced to allow users to navigate through the primary navigation site links using the tab key on their keyboard.
