A fantastic company to work for

I joined O'Neill & Brennan in 2013 working in central London office. With the support of my colleagues and peers I gained the position of Regional Account Manager setting up and opening an office in Weybridge in 2015 covering both white- and blue-collar supply to current and new clients.

Since that time, I have progressed to Director and now moved from Weybridge to the newly established Guildford office. O'Neill & Brennan are a fantastic company to work for and have been fully supportive for my desire to progress and backed me up every step of the way from day one.

I am very grateful and fortunate to be working alongside some fantastic, like-minded people within the Southern region. I am also extremely pleased and proud to be an integral part of the region’s development and its success. I'm excited and looking forward to maintaining my current relationships and building new ones as a Director with O'Neill & Brennan.

Hard work and loyalty is definitely rewarded here

I joined O'Neill & Brennan in 2011 having just completed my degree whilst working for Wates Construction as a Site Secretary. What started off as a "year out" has now turned into a 12-year stint and hopefully many more years to come. Initially I joined as an Office Administrator before being thrust into a white-collar freelance position and now Director of the Midlands.

I've been fortunate to work with some great people during my time with O'Neill & Brennan and have always had the support of the senior management team both professionally and personally. I say to everyone who joins the team at O'Neill & Brennan, that hard work and loyalty is definitely rewarded here.

I'm really pleased with the growth the Midlands region has achieved during my time here and look forward to many more years of continued success with the business.

Fantastic to work for a company who guide and nurture you

I moved to the UK from Ireland in early 2015 and joined O’Neill & Brennan as an Account Manager working in the newly opened Weybridge office. In 2016 I moved down to the Fareham office as a Senior Account Manager. Since then, I have worked my way up to Regional Manager and now Director.

It is fantastic to work for a company who guide and nurture you to allow you to progress up through the ranks and encourage you to fulfil your ambition and potential.

I’m very lucky to work with a fantastic team here in the South whose hard work and dedication each day is testament to their loyalty to O’Neill & Brennan.

An evolving company where you feel supported

I started at O'Neill & Brennan in 1997 as an Admin Assistant, tasked with invoicing in the O'Neill & Brennan offices in New Barnet. Here I was trained to improve my fairly basic technical skills, and through my decades of service have now become Payroll Manager overseeing the whole of the UK payroll. I am very proud to have risen to this level and very grateful for the support I was given.

I have trained and developed many colleagues who now are very confident in their own right and now pass that knowledge on to others.

I’m very grateful and fortunate to have worked at O'Neill & Brennan for all these years and consider the long term relationships I have built here to be a key reason for my success.

I look forward to seeing the continued expansion of O'Neill & Brennan in the years to come and on a personal note, am thrilled to have seen the growth that has taken place since I joined as the 11th employee back in 1997.

Giving Back

Through our O&B Foundation, O'Neill & Brennan endeavour to give back to the communities and areas where we work.

We sponsor both our own and our client's numerous charities we feel passionate about and that have personal resonance with the people in our business. Over several years the Foundation has sponsored a huge range of events and initiatives from Combat2Coffee to help members of the Armed Forces. To Buses4Homeless initiative in an effort to house individuals who have unfortunately found themselves living on the street. Several other charity dates like sponsored cycles, 5-a-side Football Tournaments, etc. have been undertaken to raise badly needed funds for some of our partnered charities.

We are determined that through the O&B Foundation, tomorrow's generations will reap the benefits of our efforts today.

Sustainability

O’Neill & Brennan are committed to playing a key role in enabling the construction industry to sustainably use resources to meet the needs and expectations of our communities, without compromising future generations and the planet.

Our strategy to ensure we make the impacts we aspire to is based on 5 pillars:

  1. Partnerships for impact
  2. Providing good employment
  3. Innovation & skills development
  4. Supporting communities
  5. Decarbonising construction

We believe in a sustainable future and have invested in applying the UN Sustainable Development Goal's (SDG's) Framework to our business. This strategy, the associated goals and measurements are the culmination of efforts over many years.

Despite our progress made to date, we recognise there is a long way to go. Our 30:50 strategy is intended to drive short term actions to make a significant difference quickly (2030), with an eye on not compromising our ultimate goal –to be making positive impacts by 2050.
